چکیده

In nonlinear elastic theory, the inverse bulk modulus K , for example, depends on the compression P: 1yKsPd c0 1 c1P 1 c2P 1 · · · 1 cnP 1 · · · . Elastic materials that allow cracks are unstable at finite temperature with respect to fracture under a stretching load. As a result, the above power series has zero radius of convergence: it is an asymptotic series. For a two-dimensional isotropic elastic medium allowing cracks we compute the asymptotic form cn11ycn ! Cn1y2 as n ! `. We present an explicit formula for C as a function of temperature and material properties. [S0031-9007(96)00920-9]

Free Vibration of Annular Plate Reinforced with Multi-walled Carbon Nanotubes Resting on an Elastic Foundation Using Refined Theory

In this paper, an attempt is made for solution of free vibration analysis of annular plate reinforced with carbon nanotubes for Uniformly Distribution (UD), resting on an elastic foundation using a refined theory presented. In this theory, a parabolic distribution of shear stress and strain in the thickness direction and satisfies the boundary conditions of zero shear stress on the upper and lo...

Bending Sector Graphene Sheet Based on the Elastic Winkler-Pstrnak with the Help of Nonlocal Elasticity Theory Using Developed Kantorovich Method

In this study, the elastic bending of sector graphene sheet has been studied based on elasticity using Eringen Nonlocal Elasticity Theory. In order to do this, the balance equations governing the sector graphene sheet have been solved in terms of displacements with regard to nonlocal relationship of stress, shear theory of the first order, and obtained linear strains using developed Kantorovich...

On Static Bending, Elastic Buckling and Free Vibration Analysis of Symmetric Functionally Graded Sandwich Beams

This article presents Navier type closed-form solutions for static bending, elastic buckling and free vibration analysis of symmetric functionally graded (FG) sandwich beams using a hyperbolic shear deformation theory. The beam has FG skins and isotropic core. Material properties of FG skins are varied through the thickness according to the power law distribution. The present theory accounts fo...

Approximation by harmonic polynomials

In this work we studied the approximation of the fundamental solution of the Laplace operator in two-dimensional space u = log(|x|) by harmonic polynomials. We analyzed the best approximation in the semi-ring with fixed outer radius and inner radius ? tending to zero. We observed exponential convergence in the degree of polynomials used for approximation. However, with inner radius tending to z...

Creep Stress Redistribution Analysis of Thick-Walled FGM Spheres

Time-dependent creep stress redistribution analysis of thick-walled FGM spheres subjected to an internal pressure and a uniform temperature field is investigated. The material creep and mechanical properties through the radial graded direction are assumed to obey the simple power-law variation throughout the thickness. Total strains are assumed to be the sum of elastic, thermal and creep strain...
